i'm not sure how i found your journal - perhaps it was our common, simplistic shared interest of "birds"? but i am interested in your analysis of genre fiction here. your comment on structure being enough to propel you through a book you'd otherwise reject is neat and is something i think about whenever i find myself continuing to read a book that half of me wants to chuck across the room. my husband and i talk about this stuff all the time. although my journal is mostly photos, perhaps you'd care to make a new dw friend?
